After checking in at Le Puy, guests are in for a real Oregon wine country evening right in our very own barn.  Red Hills Market will set up the mobile pizza oven at the new venue at Le Puy, the Saumur Room.  Created out of reclaimed materials, this venue features a wood fire place, artwork of our own and a rustic setting for a grand meal. Music will be provided by guitarist Larry Brown, a McMinnville Farmer's market favorite entertainer.  The featured winery is EIEIO, and with owner/winemaker Jay MacDonald attending, the evening promises to be entertaining!

The next morning, after breakfast, guests will hop aboard the Trolley and begin the day at  Trisaetum which features beautiful wine as well as art. Then it is off to Carlton for lunch at Cuvée featuring Yamhill-Carlton AVA wines followed by a self-guided walk-about in Carlton.  Visit Dwight Ewalt for beautiful sculpture, taste jams at Republic of Jam, chocolates at Honest Chocolates or visit more tasting rooms in the quaint little town. Before we let you rest, we'll stop at Arbor Brook for a tasting featuring an impressive line-up of wines as well as a newly renovated tasting room in a historic barn.  The weekend will then culminate at Penner Ash with chef Paul Bachand of Recipe.  Penner Ash boasts some of the most beautiful views of the area and along with a live band, we'll have you all dancing the night away as The Djangophiles entertain!

On Sunday, guests will enjoy a full breakfast, then return to their daily lives with fresh new ideas and perspective on sustainable living!

O Sacred season of Autumn, be my teacher,
for I wish to learn the virtue of contentment.
As I gaze upon your full-colored beauty,
  I sense all about you
an at-homeness with your amber riches.
You are the season of retirement,
of full barns and harvested fields.
The cycle of growth has ceased,
and the busy work of giving life
  is now completed.
I sense in you no regrets:
  you've lived a full life.
I live in a society that is ever-restless,
always eager for more mountains to climb,
seeking happiness through more and more possessions.
As a child of my culture,
I am seldom truly at peace with what I have.
Teach me to take stock of what I have given and received,
may I know that it's enough,
  that my striving can cease
in the abundance of God's grace.
May I know the contentment
that allows the totality of my energies
  to come to full flower.
May I know that like you I am rich beyond measure.
As you, O Autumn, take pleasure in your great bounty,
  let me also delight
in the abundance of the simple things in life
which are the true source of joy.
With the golden glow of peaceful contentment
may I truly appreciate this autumn day.
